Gathering 2008

Registration and General Information

*The Longaberger Homestead™ will be closed to the General Public on May 3, 2008. You will need to be registered for the Collectors Club Homestead Gathering for access to the homestead on this day. You will need to have your event name badge with you for admittance to the Longaberger Homestead.

Registration Costs:
Collectors Club Members – $80
Guests 10 yr and up – $55
Guests 9 yr and under – FREE

Dates to Remember:

Registration Begins - Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at 1 p.m. EST

Confirmation Packets

  • Confirmation packets will be mailed to Collectors Club members who register on or before March 20, 2008.  Packets will be mailed the first week in April. Those who register after March 20, 2008 will not be guaranteed to receive their confirmation packet by mail and may have to pick it up onsite.
  • Confirmation packets will be mailed to Collectors Club members only, guest information will be included in Collectors Club member packet.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations received on or before April 11, 2008 will receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations received after April 11, 2008 will not receive a refund. Members are responsible if their guest cancels.
  • Accepted registrations are NOT transferable. If you are not able to attend the event you must cancel your registration. Event amenities will not be shipped. You must attend the event to receive all amenities.

Online Registration Closes

  • Monday, April 28, 2008 online registration will close. If there is still space available to attend the event, Collectors Club members and their guests can register at the onsite event registration on Saturday, May 3, 2008. Updates regarding the event capacity will be posted on Longaberger.com under Collectors Club Gatherings.

Registration Policy
All members and their guests must register to attend the Collectors Club Homestead Gathering.

If a member owning multiple memberships registers more than once, each individual membership will be charged the $80 registration fee and be subject to the cancellation policy (if you own three memberships and register three times, you will be charged a total of $240 and the cancellation policy will apply.)

General Information:

Attire

  • Dress up in denim, checks, gingham and bibs and don't for get your bandanna – you might take home a blue ribbon for best dressed!
  • Dress comfortably and wear supportive shoes. We have put our request in for great weather, but you may want to be prepared just in case!

Be Sure to Bring

  • Your confirmation packet with your name badge, detailed agenda, lunch and snack ticket, family signing scratch off ticket, Make A Basket™ confirmation and other details you will need to get through your day.
  • A camera...you will not want to miss the opportunity to capture your event memories.

Parking and Getting Around

  • Once you arrive at Longaberger Homestead, you will be directed to the event parking located near the Basketmaking Facility.
  • Shuttles will be available to get you back and forth from the Longaberger Homestead to the Basketmaking Facility.
  • Allow at least 15 minutes travel time between event locations.

Wheelchair and Motorized Scooter Pick Up and Drop Off
If you reserved a wheelchair or motorized scooter when you registered for the event, you may pick it up at the wheelchair pick-up tent located near the handicapped parking area in front of the Welcome Center from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. After 7 p.m., wheelchairs may be dropped off at the Longaberger Homestead Welcome Center.

Consent and Assignment
In exchange for the opportunity to attend the Collectors Club Homestead Gathering, you and your guest(s) agree that you may be filmed and/or photographed by The Longaberger Company, that Longaberger may use the film or photographs in promotional or other materials related to its business, and that you and your guest(s) assign to Longaberger any copyright interest and right of publicity resulting from the film or photographs, all without any obligation by Longaberger to further compensate you or your guest(s).
