Basketmaking has been an integral part of American culture for as long as America itself. Therefore, it is only fitting that two great icons of the American spirit — The Longaberger Company and Colonial Williamsburg — join together this summer to celebrate our combined heritage

In June we have a wonderful opportunity to make a basket at The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. From June 1-June 10 we will be on site at one of the most famous historic destinations in the United States

The Basket Fest 2007 will be held adjacent to Great Hopes Plantation, which is a short walk from the Colonial Williamsburg Visitors' Center. For more information about Williamsburg, please visit www.history.org.

For just $74.95, your Williamsburg Basket Making experience includes:

  • Medium Chore BasketA reservation to make a Medium Chore Basket with a natural and Wakefield blue trim strip. The tack jackets will be pineapples
  • A free pass for the length of your stay to all of the exhibits and attractions at The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation including access to the Governor's Palace, the Capitol, all historic sites and the Great Hopes Plantation. The pass includes an orientation and information to allow you to enjoy Colonial Williamsburg any time before or after you make your basket.
