Large Pasta Bowl and Pedestal Stand Price Clarification
Please note, there is a discrepancy in the January Flyer and January Notebook regarding the price of the Large Pasta Bowl and Wrought Iron Pedestal Stand. The correct price is $66. Please refer to the Flyer for the correct price.
Routine Systems Maintenance
We will be performing routine maintenance to our systems early Sunday morning, Nov. 14, between approximately 3 a.m.–noon EST. During this maintenance period, you will be able to access myLongaberger.com, however, you will not have the ability to see your updated show and sales information. This maintenance does not affect your ability to access and process shows via WebExpress. We will place a message on the pre-login page of myLongaberger.com during the maintenance time period so you are aware of the status of the site.
Food Tax Update
While tax on food items has been charged properly according to various state regulations, the tax charged on the shipping and handling amount of those food items should be charged at the food rate (zero or reduced rate) as well. The Longaberger Express, WebExpress, and PeopleSoft systems are not designed to allocate shipping and handling on each individual line. Therefore, for orders shipped to states where food is not taxed, or is taxed at a special food rate, the sales tax on Shipping and Handling will not be calculated properly.
As a temporary solution, home consultants should use the new hard-copy order form (revised 7/04) as a worksheet to calculate the correct Shipping and Handling tax amount for their customers. The new order forms have a separate column for product and food (these can be printed from myLongaberger under Reports & Tools then Print & Go Forms.) The Longaberger Tax Department will make weekly adjustments to the Consultant’s Activity Statements as needed. The home consultant should refund the customer upon receipt of the adjustment if the customer was mistakenly overcharged. A system modification is being reviewed.
Distribution Update for Week 46
With the exception of backorders, all show orders prior to Week 44 (Oct. 23 – 29) have shipped. We are currently shipping show and customer service orders for Week 44 (Oct. 23 – 29) and Week 45 (Oct. 30– Nov. 5). Backorders will ship as soon as the product becomes available.

Reminder: Once your transmitted shows are posted at the Home Office, any changes made through Customer Satisfaction will not be reflected in the amount debited from your bank account. The difference will be posted to your activity statement. Likewise, any shows that are cancelled will still debit your bank account, unless cancelled the same day it was received, and the credit will appear on your activity statement. Please be mindful of your account balance to keep it up-to-date. Activity statements are viewable on myLongaberger.com.
Hostess Bonus Boost: The Hostess Bonus Boost was added for the month of November that will increase the Hostess Bonus Dollars by $15 when your guest sales are at $400 - $499. All other hostess dollar levels remain the same.
